2021 - Taylor University Graduation

This weekend we celebrate Emily and Rachel graduating from Taylor University! The past four years have been full of incredible memories, a few challenges like a pandemic, lots of personal and professional growth, and a wonderful time in the lives of our family. We are at the beginning of a huge change in our family with our daughters heading off to their post college lives. Rachel will be attending Indiana University this fall in the Master of Library Science program and planning a wedding. Emily has accepted a Chemistry teaching position at Southern Wells Community Schools and is currently looking at houses and apartments in the area.

To a father growing old, nothing is dearer than a daughter.

Euripides

I am not old yet, but definitely older and this quote rings so true. My daughters are very dear to me and I cherish their love and friendship. Our relationship will change as they leave home and strike out on their own, but the change will be for the better for all of us. They will always be my little girls, but they are also amazing young women who are ready to begin the next stages of their lives. This daddy is so proud. Emily and Rachel, I love you both so much!

Congratulations to Emily and Rachel!
