Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for remembering the people who died while serving in the country’s armed forces. – Wikipedia.

This holiday weekend fills me with so many memories. I am grateful to all my friends and relatives who served in the armed forces, especially those that gave their lives in that service. This weekend is a time for remembrance of those sacrifices. If you are celebrating this weekend camping, cooking out, having a picnic, playing games, or whatever you do, take a few moments to remember why we celebrate this weekend each year. I want to especially thank my father-in-law, uncle, and childhood neighbor who served in Vietnam, each had many friends who did not return home with them. They are in my heart and prayers this weekend.

I have discussed before the relationship of our gaming hobby to Memorial Weekend. This weekend I again encourage you to take time to remember this holiday and your friends and family.
