We are finishing up a whirlwind of a senior year full of final classes, AP tests, theater productions, senior prom, band concerts, college acceptance, solo & ensemble contests, scholarship writing, youth group trips, senior pictures, and the baccalaureate. All culminating in graduation yesterday and open house today.

Words cannot begin to describe how proud I am of both of my daughters. Beyond their academic and musical accomplishments, they have matured into beautiful and amazing young women faster than this father could imagine. Amazing to think, we celebrate their 18th birthdays next week. I cherish the memories I have of watching them grow up as the sisters-born-on-the-same-day that quickly shined as unique individuals. I love my moments alone with each of them, and our little inside jokes and conversations. I also love the times we get to spend together, be it running errands or on extended road trips.

College is only few months away! What an exciting new chapter in their lives. So many opportunities for them to explore. In whatever path they each choose, I know they will each have an impact on the lives of those around them. I am blessed to know they will be attending Taylor University, a place that is very dear to both Angie and I.

Love, joy, and blessings go out to my daughters in this summer of change.
